How it all began
I’m a mum of two, who got frustrated when trying to find a nice looking water table that wasn’t made from bright coloured plastic. I started looking into mud kitchens but found them very expensive and decided to make my own. This went down so well with my friends and family that I just kept making them. And here we are.
I’m passionate about recycling and reusing old materials. Lauterwood products are generally made from recycled timber pallets. We take them apart, sand and paint them. Our accessories are real-life adult kitchenware, often sourced from Vinnies and other second-hand stores.
